We’re excited to share the Second Half 2025 release of Enterprise PSA on Saturday November 15th, with downtime 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. This release introduces a range of usability, performance, and integration updates. These improvements are designed to reduce manual effort, streamline project workflows, and strengthen system security and interoperability across Enterprise PSA.

What's New -

IMPROVED: Draft Schedule Now Available in All Project Setups

Goal: Make it easier to leverage the draft schedule feature

The Draft Schedule option is now available in all project setup configurations. This update removes previous setup steps, allowing users to plan and adjust project timelines in draft mode as needed.

Impact: Increases flexibility and accessibility for project teams who rely on draft scheduling during project initiation and execution.

IMPROVED: Bulk Edit Draft Schedules with Multi-Cell Edit

Goal: Reduce clicks to make bulk changes to the draft schedule

Users can now make multiple edits within the draft schedule at once. This enhancement streamlines the workflow for updating or modifying large schedules.

Impact: Reduces the number of clicks and keystrokes required to make bulk updates, improving efficiency for project managers handling complex scheduling.

IMPROVED: Fill From Options to Bulk Update Hours in Draft Schedule

Goal: Reduce effort to populate the draft schedule

New Fill From options have been added to the draft schedule, allowing users to automatically populate fields based on existing data.

Impact: Decreases the need for manual entry, shortens setup time, and improves data consistency across schedules.

IMPROVED: Conflict Messaging When Committing Draft Schedules

Goal: Improve workflow to clear conflicts when committing a draft schedule

Conflicts in draft schedules are now easier to identify and resolve. The commit workflow includes clearer messaging and the ability to clear conflicts directly within the process.

Impact: Increases transparency when conflicts occur and reduces the steps required to finalize and commit draft schedules.

IMPROVED: Generate Excel Reports Without Security Warning Macros

Goal: Export clean, secure Excel reports that open without warnings

Reports can now be exported as standard XLSX files rather than macro-enabled XLSM files.

Impact: Eliminates dependency on macros, ensuring exported reports open seamlessly in Excel without triggering security warnings or being blocked by IT policies. Reports retain full data fidelity and can be shared freely across teams or clients.

IMPROVED: Separate Auto-Approval Settings for Time-Off and Project Time

Goal: Provide greater flexibility in time card auto-approval workflows

Time-off and project time entries can now be managed through independent auto-approval settings. Previously, a single global control governed both.

Impact: Organizations can now auto-approve non-billable entries such as vacation or sick time while still requiring manual approval for project hours, maintaining compliance without adding administrative burden.

If users had the auto-approve setting active for project and time-off, then they will have both these new options active, so there will be no impact to existing behavior.

If users did not have the auto-approve setting active for project and time-off, then both these new options will not be active, so there will be no impact to existing behavior.

NEW: Rate Card APIs Now Available for Integration

We have added new APIs for the rate card data in Enterprise PSA. Details can be found here:

Goal: Extend API coverage to include rate card data.

New APIs are now available to expose rate card data for integration with external systems.

Impact: Enables external applications to read and synchronize rate data programmatically, simplifying integration with finance, billing, and analytics systems.

IMPROVED: Updated Resource Card Design

Goal: Improve BigTime Enterprise PSA UI

The Resource Card has been redesigned to present information more clearly.

Impact: Provides a more intuitive layout that improves visibility into resource details and enhances user navigation within the Enterprise PSA interface.

IMPROVED: Zendesk Integration Updated to Token-Based Authentication

Goal: Ensure Zendesk integration reliability and security

Authentication for the Zendesk integration has transitioned from username and password credentials to secure token-based authentication.

Impact: Maintains seamless integration even as Zendesk updates its authentication model and strengthens overall security posture.

Zendesk integration customers need to update their connector credentials in Enterprise PSA by December 31, 2025 to avoid disruption with the integration. Users need to generate the API Token in the Zendesk Admin Center. That token needs to be added as the password in the connector credentials in this format in the password field:

token:{api_token}

Zendesk Help Documentation to Generate API Token

IMPROVED: Web Services Enhancements for New Time-Off Approvals

Goal: Expand web service coverage for Time-Off Approval visibility and reporting

New fields have been added to improve access to time-off approval data:

  • Resource Search: Added display column Automatic Reported Time Off Approval

  • Resource Report: Added field Time-Off Approval Required (Yes/No)

  • Audit Trail Report: Added Reported Time-Off Requires Approval Flag

  • Legacy Web Services: ExportResource and OpsUpdateResource now include ReportedTimeOffApprovalFlag

Impact: Provides additional visibility into approval requirements and audit tracking across both standard and legacy web services.
