May 2024 Release Notes

We are rolling out our 2024 First Half (1H 2024) release on Saturday, May 11 and we're excited to share these highlights.

1. Invoice UDF

• Goal: Enhancing Invoice Functionality

Introducing the UDF (User Defined Field) feature for invoices enables more comprehensive tracking of customer data at the invoice level. This new functionality improves integration with external systems, allowing for enhanced data management and streamlined business processes.

2. Time Off Request Import

• Goal: Providing Resource Availability Data

This new feature allows for easy import of approved time off requests from external HR systems and simplifies time-off management. Time off request importing provides accurate resource availability information, allowing for more effective project planning and resource allocation.

3. Deferred Revenue Transfer Improvement

• Goal: Expanding Revenue Transfers Capabilities

This feature enables transfers between contracts from different clients to improve the flexibility of financial operations. This new capability allows for more efficient management prepayments, providing greater agility in responding to changing business needs.

4. Prepayment Application Warning

• Goal: Avoiding Billing Process Error

Applying prepayment created by milestones on the same invoice is not a standard practice. This new feature allows clients with non-standard practices to still proceed with their current process while at the same time receiving warnings when the user tries to apply prepayment created on the same invoice.

5. Smartsheet Continued Improvements

• Goal: Expanding Client Rollout

More exception handling messages have been added to Smartsheet Integration. We continue to work with our implementation consultants to allow clients to adopt Smartsheet into their daily operations. This change enhances their project management capabilities.

6. Role Assignment Improvement

• Goal: Flexible Role Assignments

The new feature allows named roles to be assigned back to unnamed resources, enabling organizations to adapt to project needs dynamically. This added flexibility facilitates more efficient resource allocation and management.
